This branch marked red circle is in an unusual position.

A certain tribe as used this as a sign...

A peice of wood put across a tree trunk which bark is cut as a split then the small branch is put in place...

Or it could be just a cross section of a branch...

These signs are from hunters which some means they will return...

Or pointers...

The ring signifies how long...

Igor Fomenko was part of a group of tourist called the Rostov group.

After years an interviewer finally met up with Fomenko in 2013.

ln 1959 the Rostov group met with the Bakhtiyarova family of Mansi near the Urals.

Peter Bakhtiyarova told of a group of 7 hikers in his interrogation with the investigators at a police station.

When Peter was questioned about his activities he told the investigators he had tuberculosis in his lungs and not been hunting for three years...

But when lgor Fomenko was with the Bakhtiyarova family he said they was absolutely healthy and no matter what l did no complaints?

But Peter Bakhtiyarova after the Dyatlov incident said he had tuberculosis.

But didn't mention this with the Rostov group who ate with the Bakhtiyarova family and slept the night...

The document in the post is signed by Yurt Bakhtiyarova a triangle shape in black ink at the bottom of the document which is the interrogation.

Fomenko said he seen the same triangle sign on a tree in the same area as the Dyatlov group...

And reckoned bears was killed which is forbidden in the Soviet throughout 1930s to 1980s...

The testament of Peter Bakhtiyarova is from the documents in the archives.

The interview of lgor Fomenko was in 2013.

A flashlight was found half way down the slope switched off...

A diagram of the cuts in the tent, it as two squares, it also as a flap red arrow on the right points to the flap.

The piece in the middle is missing.

Why would you cut a square or two large openings instead of cutting down.

This tent was trashed to pieces.

Someone or nature didn't want them to live there...

lts also has a triangle shape damage on the other side...

This is a drawing from a extract of Slobtsov...

This is how the tent was found buried with only the entrance rising out the snow.

lf you notice the ski support to keep the tent steady, is at the wrong side...

The two skis should be on both sides of the tent.

The one ski is at the gable end?

Someone must have moved the ski, Igor knew how to set the tent up many times.

Who why is the ski in the wrong place.

When the investigators examined the tent and the area.

They moved all the items on one side, rope is seen spread about.

But none tied or pegged down attach to anything?

When the tent was found no rope ends was seen, not even going over the collapse tent...

Head Mansi searcher Kurikov stands on the spot where the tent was in 1959.

The skipoles in the snow was to test the depth of snowfall after a certain time, to see how high the snow forms.

The ski poles was set the same height as the tent the one on the right.

The skipole on the left is to test to see how high over the tent.

End photo is a diagram of the tent to signal the tent on Kholat mountain...

The first photo is Mansi grave or sometime a mansi storage, Sharman and Mansi bury there dead in high labaz.

The blurred photo is on the 31st January sitting around a fire, Yuri Yudin reckoned this is where they made up the magazine while warm.

The photo of the hikers near the tent is morning the 1st February If you notice on the left there sorting items out in the ground.

The next photo the hikers making there way through the woods, in Zina's diary it was here in the woods she wrote Mansi Mansi Mansi, plus tracks of deer and Mansi ending at the edge of the woods.

After there deaths investigators finds the storage which the hikers made mark with a ski.

The hikers dug a hole in the ground and put there supplies in and covered with cardboard and put snow on top near the tent.

Many experience hikers couldn't understand why they put there supplies in the ground, instead of on a tree away from wolves.

The only reason l can think of, ls to hide there supplies from the Mansi.

Why break the rules of experience hikers who couldn't understand why they put important food and extra skis under the ground.

They need this food for there journey back...

The last photo is two searches looking over the remains of the storage which they dug out of the ground...

Looking down towards the cedar trees.

As the hikers walked down the slope it gives you a feeling of why they kept in the open.

They knew heavy winds came down the slope, but they persisted on going in the open...

l don't think they could go any further than the slope over the cold winds and exhaustion...

They was walking just over one mile every two hours.

It was a three and a half miles journey to the slope starting out at 10.00 morning reaching the slope at 5.00 evening.

It was a uphill hike to the slope.

So would have been complaining, lgor said he was frail ate raw.

lf perpetrators came i doubt the hikers would have been stronge enough for them...
