On OXYMORE I wanted to do a few collaborations for each single with young and established artists.

I hope there will be some fun surprises in the mix for you.

Colabs won’t be on the album and for now only available to stream and download.

For the roll out I´m delighted to announce Martin Gore.

From great haunted melodies to extreme experimentations Martin Gore is one of the most eclectic electronic music composers.

His unique touch in Brutalism Take 2 shows it.

It has been a real pleasure and honor to collaborate with you Martin!

You can listen to the full track from Friday and pre-save it here https://JeanMichelJarre.lnk.to/MartinGore_BT2_ps

Deathpact is one of the most interesting projects in electronic music right now, and I really wanted them on-board since our last collaboration.

Today BRUTALISM REPRISE with Deathpact is out.
This is a digital release only for now as some of you have been asking.
What do you think of it?
I’m very keen to hear.
21 days until OXYMORE is out…exciting times…

OXYMORE is out today.

It is truly a tribute to the roots of the french electronic music & electroacoustic music which had a major influence on my early studies at the GRM and really how we are producing music today.

The soul of the album is also a tribute to Pierre Henry, who was one of the foundational 20th century giants of electronic music: he explored solfeggio notes v’s noise bites in audio spatialization before it was thought of.

When he departed, I was very moved by the fact that he left some sounds to me for a future project that he thought relevant.

Pierre Henry inspired me to create an album using the old analog techniques I studied, but linked to the future by using spatial audio technique already and foremost at the composition stage.

OXYMORE is probably the first album of this inception, where the entire creative process was build around immersive sound arrangement and production.

I am very grateful for Dolby Atmos allowing me to use their tools, hijacked from cinema, to share this piece of music.

I also thank Radio France to have offered offer me their Studio Innovativation space to work in and push the bouandries of audio creation.

I am really convinced that the Multi-Channel and Binaural sound formats are the future of music and new creativity, production & emotional experiences.

Thank you for listening to OXYMORE.

Please dive into the music, close your eyes & bon voyage!
