On November 12th, Kitaro will be performing at the Daishiyama Seidaiji Temple in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture, known for the Echizen Great Buddha. The performance commemorates the 35th anniversary of its founding. On the day of the event, a digital hanging scroll created by filmmaker Akira Hasegawa, will be projected onto the outer wall of the Great Buddha Hall, creating a collaboration of sound and light. The path of prayer left by the revered Kobo Daishi Kukai is a beacon for us who live in the modern age. Celebrating the 1250th anniversary of his birth, Kitaro and Hiroki Okano will perform a concert of spiritual music. Fuyou Kobayashi will dedicate a special calligraphy.
