Chariots of Fire UK Stage Tour: Uncertain Status In recent days, it has been observed that the production company Bill Kenwright Ltd has removed the "Chariots of Fire" UK tour page from its website, and the production is no longer referenced among its current or forthcoming projects. In addition, several theatres that were previously listing performances have either suspended ticket sales or indicated that scheduled performances have been cancelled. Other venues, however, continue to list the production with tickets still available for sale. No formal public statement has yet been issued by the production company regarding the status of the tour. Given the above, the status of the 2026 UK tour presently appears uncertain. We had just released our album Quiet Places and my first novel ‚Im Spiegel der Venus‘, when the coronavirus struck. Fortunately, we managed to give a private concert at the Millers Studio in Zurich, Switzerland, only days before the lockdown, and were still able to celebrate both releases. The song ‚Pygmalion‘ is dedicated to a story from Greek mythology that centres on imagination as the most important force in the creation of reality. The sculptor has no luck with women and therefore shapes the woman of his dreams from white marble, naming her Galatea. He falls so deeply in love with his creation that Aphrodite, the goddess of love, takes pity on him and brings Galatea to life. The song emerged from a free improvisation with Isabel Gehweiler and can be found on the album Quiet Places." – Andreas

I was so very fortunate to be able to fulfil a very ambitious dream and open a new chapter in my musical world: to paint musically with the infinite variety of tone colours offered by the symphony orchestra. The project was called Wolkenstein, a word that has always inspired me—seeking the lightness within the heavy, the heaviness within the feather light, and creating a harmonious connection between the two states. Today, in the grandfatherly phase of my life, I now know that it was the music that helped me for this connection to become part of my nature and to keep my soul, despite many storms, steady and hopeful... The songs we played were ‚Domus Cordis‘ from the album Kryptos and ‚Eastern Moons‘, which has never been recorded for an album. I was also very lucky to meet André Bellmont, who greatly supported me with the orchestration and then brilliantly navigated the orchestra through a musical landscape that was at times a bit ‚unusual‘. My friends Walter Keiser, Christoph Stiefel, and Matthias Ziegler also threw themselves courageously into this adventure.
