Kitaro - The Best of Kitaro Asia Tour 2025 (Bangkok, Singapore) - Unofficial material

 

Here are some snippets I have managed to capture in Bangkok and Singapore. 

Some of the pieces that cuaght me in surprise was Aqua, Oasis, Angel Queen and Fiesta.

Kitaro performed Aqua and Oasis on the 800DV was amazing and rare!

 

I had rushed to my phone to capture this rare moment.

 

The 800DV sound resonated so grandly in the large hall in Bangkok, and especially when the 800DV bender is triggered! 

 

When the introduction of Angel Queen was played, I thought it was so familiar, and when I realized it was Angel Queen, I was in disbelief!

 

To hear Angel Queen performed after so many decades is so refreshing, and yet, it is the version with Singer, Dara Sedaka.

 

I listened to this version so many times, and I loved the Rhodes piano in the breakdown.

 

Kitaro played the low notes on the 800DV, and I thought if I were jamming to this piece, it was something I would do too!

 

There was a sense of familiarity in Kitaro's style, it was, in a way, became somewhat instinctive to me. 
 
Another surprise was the ending of Matsuri.

 

Kitaro didn't stop at the end of the music playback, but the band continued for a while with the sampled 'Hoo' and 'Sa'!

 

It was amazing and really refreshing!

 

Lastly, Fiesta was performed as the second-to-last piece for the concert.

 

Again, the introduction of the drums in the beginning caught me by surprise.

 

I thought 'Is Kitaro going to perform Fiesta using the original tracks'.

 

This is really cool!

 

Together with the band, the drums, guitar and violin added more flavour to the original, I thought the drums were really a nice addition!

 

Throughout the entire concert, it was an amazing experience.

 

Jamming with Kitaro's music through my channel almost felt so in tune to the music.

 

I was observing the concert, and somehow, in my head, I was 'performing'.

 

It was unreal to say!

 

Overall, this concert was so refreshing, the lighting program in this concert was also amazing which enhanced the overall perfromance!

 

Overall, it was really good to see Kitaro perform again on stage!!
